Portions of southern DuPage and far western Cook counties in northeastern Illinois.

IMPACTS
Based on river gauge reports, flooding is occurring along the DuPage River near the Morton Arboretum. Water may start to encroach Illinois Route 53 and other roadways near the river in the area. In addition, River levels are near flood stage along Salt Creek in Western Springs.

At 756 AM CDT, gauge reports indicated elevated river levels due to overnight rainfall. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain fell overnight. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Aurora, Naperville, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Lombard, Woodridge, Glen Ellyn, Hinsdale, Westchester, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Westmont, Lisle, La Grange Park, Warrenville, Western Springs, Willowbrook, Clarendon Hills, Hillside and Oakbrook Terrace. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
