Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded.

At 1221 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen today. River gauges on area streams and creeks indicate that flooding is ongoing in the warned area as a result of this heavy rainfall. This is particularly the case along the portions of the Little Calumet, Thorn Creek, Butterfield Creek and Hart Ditch. The heavy rainfall is expected to come to an end overnight, but area streams and rivers will remain elevated through the night. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
