Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Illinois...Indiana... Wabash River at Mount Carmel. Wabash River at Vincennes. .Minor flooding continues on the White River from Petersburg down to the Wabash...and on the Wabash River from the Hutsonville area down to Mount Carmel. The crest on the White was near Hazleton while the crest on the Wabash was near Vincennes late Wednesday morning.

IMPACTS

At 20.0 feet, River is bankfull in all locations. All oil field production ceases with the exception of pumping units on substructures. Access to these are by boat only. Agricultural losses increase dramatically. Farmers move livestock to higher ground. City of Mount Carmel leaves flood gates B and C in year round.

Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
