What the bulletin says to do

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges, dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream, even a small one, on foot. Wabash River at Vincennes. ...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Indiana... Mississinewa River near Ridgeville. .Another round of 1 to 2 inches of rain has led to a renewed rise along the Mississinewa River near Ridgeville. Along the Wabash River, flooding is expected to begin near Vincennes late Tuesday night. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes. * WHEN...From late Tuesday night until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Extensive agricultural flooding in progress in areas that are not protected by levees. In Lawrence County Illinois, River Road is flooded from the Lincoln Memorial Bridge to the east edge of Billett. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 2:45 AM EDT Monday /1:45 AM CDT Monday/ the stage was 12.9 feet.
