What the bulletin says to do
A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. These forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well as forecast precipitation 24 hours into the future. Changes to the rainfall forecast, or any additional rainfall after 24 hours, may cause changes to these river forecasts. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Sunday afternoon at 345 PM CDT.

Du Page River at Shorewood affecting Will County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is possible. * WHERE...Du Page River from IL-59 in Plainfield downstream to confluence with Des Plaines River, including the Shorewood gauge. * WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, trails are inundated at Hammel Woods in Shorewood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday, the stage was 14.4 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of near 15.5 feet tomorrow morning. Flood stage is 15.5 feet. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
