A Flood Warning means flooding is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons along rivers, creeks, and other waterways should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southeastern Benton County in northwestern Indiana... * WHEN...Until 1130 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and streets may be flooded. Slow-moving or standing water may continue. High water may recede slowly from flooded areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 919 PM EDT, the public reported that roads and yards in and near Otterbein were flooded after earlier heavy rainfall. Up to 5.5 inches of rain have fallen since 400 PM EDT.
