* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Brown County in south central Indiana... Jackson County in south central Indiana... Northeastern Lawrence County in south central Indiana... Southeastern Monroe County in south central Indiana... Southern Jennings County in southeastern Indiana... * WHEN...Until 915 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Seymour, North Vernon, Brownstown, Vernon, Crothersville, Medora, Cortland, Vallonia, Freetown, Kurtz, Pleasant View, Norman, Elkinsville, Hayden, Charles Deam Wilderness, Heltonville, Paris Crossing, Woodville Hills and Monroe Reservoir. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
