White River at Petersburg and Hazleton. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following river and locations in Indiana... White River at Elliston and Edwardsport. .Repeat thunderstorms over the southern half of Indiana today have brought heavy rainfall, with peak radar indicated amounts of between 1.50 and 2.00 inches southwest of Indianapolis, from Greene County eastward to Brown County, and Knox County eastward to Martin County. Rainfall elsewhere in the southwest quadrant of Indiana typically have been close to one inch. This rainfall will bring points on the lower White River into flood within the next 12 to 24 hours.

At 7:00 PM EDT Sunday /6:00 PM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 13.8 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 18.5 feet early Tuesday morning.
