...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana... Wildcat Creek near Lafayette. Wabash River at Lafayette. .Additional heavy rainfall Wednesday night has resulted in renewed minor river flooding around Lafayette...both on the Wildcat Creek and Wabash River at Lafayette. Flooding should end on the Wildcat Creek by early Friday...and on the Wabash at Lafayette on Saturday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Lafayette. * WHEN...From this morning to early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water may approach a couple low county roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 2:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.9 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 12.6 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. Flood stage is 11.0 feet. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
