* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...East Central Lake IN County in northwestern Indiana... Central Porter County in northwestern Indiana... * WHEN...Until 430 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 134 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Merrillville, Valparaiso, Hobart, Lakes of the Four Seasons, Winfield, Wheeler, Boone Grove and Malden. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
