What: Minor flooding is forecast. Impacts: At 12.4 feet, Road just north of Blue Bluff Bridge has about six inches of water on it. Where: White River near Centerton. When: Until late tomorrow morning.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Hazleton. White River at Petersburg. White River at Edwardsport. White River at Newberry. White River at Spencer. White River at Elliston. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... White River near Centerton. White River at Ravenswood. White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant. .Very heavy rainfall from Wednesday evening through the overnight of 2 to over 3 inches will bring parts of the middle White back into minor flooding with a second crest and lengthen the amount of time in flood for points downstream. The primary, higher crest is past Spencer and should reach Elliston on Friday and make its way down to Hazleton late Sunday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River near Centerton. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.4 feet, Road just north of Blue Bluff Bridge has about six inches of water on it. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 12:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.0 feet. Forecast...The river will rise to 12.9 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening to 8.1 feet Saturday morning.
