...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana... White River near Centerton. ...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Indiana... White River near Nora. White River at Ravenswood. .Additional heavy rainfall tonight is expected to bring minor to moderate flooding to middle and lower parts of the White River. Rainfall amounts of one to three inches for tonight were included in the forecast for the middle and lower White River basin. Locally higher amounts could bring higher crests and longer flooding. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River near Centerton. * WHEN...From Friday evening to Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 15.3 feet, Extensive flooding of agricultural lands. Blue Bluff and Paragon Roads are impassable. Flood waters affect a few homes in Waverly. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 12:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 6.7 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 14.3 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday morning.
