IMPACTS
At 20.0 feet, Considerable flooding of farmland is expected. Widespread flooding of the park just upstream of the gage site is anticipated. East Chestnut Avenue east of By-pass is closed due to water over roadway. Greens Farm Road floods between Highway 166 north to Dunbar Hill.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
At 8:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.6 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.5 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon. Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
Instructions
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
