IMPACTS
At 24.0 feet, Three miles west of Belle Plaine near the gage site, a small section of K55 floods east of the bridge. Flood waters flow over Highway 81 starting at 1/2 mile north of K55 and spreading to 100th Avenue. The water on Highway 81 may be near 1.5 ft deep.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
At 7:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 23.6 feet and rising. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.0 feet just after midnight tonight then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
Instructions
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
