* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, Floyd and Knott. * WHEN...Until 330 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1235 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in Mousie, Soft Shell, Wayland, and Garret. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Estill, Wayland, Bolyn, Yellow Mountain, Soft Shell, Handshoe, Mousie, Vest, Larkslane, Elmrock, Betty, Porter Junction, Garret, Glo, Raven, Demo, Buck and Minnie.
