...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Missouri... Hinkson Creek at Columbia. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Hinkson Creek at Columbia. * WHEN...Until late Friday night. * IMPACTS...At 20.9 feet, Height of Providence Road just north of the gage bridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.2 feet. Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:00 PM CDT Thursday was 19.2 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.3 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening. Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
