Northern Pontotoc County in northeastern Mississippi... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 642 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing near County Road 244 and Highway 15. Between 8 and 9 inches of rain have fallen in the past 3 hours.
