Northwestern Catawba County in the piedmont of North Carolina... East Central Burke County in western North Carolina... Southern Caldwell County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1246 PM EDT, Flooding of low-lying areas along Mulberry and Lower Creeks will gradually recede this afternoon. Flooding along select tributataries of Lake Rhodhiss and some shoreline flooding remain possible into this evening. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
