Northwestern Caldwell County in western North Carolina... East Central McDowell County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1158 AM EDT, Flooding is ongoing along Wilson Creek and Johns River, and will likely linger all afternoon. Flooding along portions of Adako, Johns River Loop, Old Johns River and Corpening Bridge Road remains likely. Some locations that may experience flooding include... Table Rock, Lake James State Park, Lake James, Linville Falls, B.R. Parkway-Linville Falls To Grandfather, Jonas Ridge and Edgemont. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
