* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Middlesex County in northern New Jersey... Southeastern Somerset County in northern New Jersey... * WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 456 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing near South Brunswick Township. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Somerset, Edison, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, South Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Carteret, Jamesburg and Society Hill. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
