...The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in New Mexico... San Juan River Near Archuleta affecting San Juan County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...San Juan River near Archuleta. * WHEN...From this afternoon to late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Minor flooding is possible with inundation to structures located close to the river from near Archuleta to Bloomfield. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 4:30 PM MST Sunday the stage was 7.1 feet. Bankfull stage is 6.6 feet. Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:30 PM MST Sunday was 7.1 feet. Due to high uncertainty, the crest forecast will likely change in future updates. Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 3.8 feet Sunday, November 08. Flood stage is 7.0 feet. Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 7.2 feet on 03/27/1955. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
