* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall earlier this evening remains in spots. * WHERE...Portions of Niagara County, including Lockport and Shawnee. * WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1047 PM EDT, local law enforcement continued to report flooded roads and basements near Lockport and Shawnee due to earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... North Tonawanda, Lockport, Newfane, Middleport, Sanborn, Wilson, Barker, Gasport, Appleton, Olcott, Rapids, Cambria Center, Pendleton Center, Wolcottsville and Ransomville. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
