...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers... Licking River in Ohio Near Newark. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Licking River in Ohio near Newark. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding of nearly half of Canterbury Trails Mobile Home Park occurs, with portions of Licking View Drive flooded. Backwater flooding into Raccoon Creek is possible, which may flood areas of Raccoon Drive. Properties near Nathaniel Avenue and Spring Streets flood, with homes flooding in the Little Texas area between Ohio Street and the river. The ball diamonds near Little Texas also flood, as well as areas of Summit Street Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 11:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 13.7 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
