...The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers... Raccoon Creek near Granville. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Raccoon Creek near Granville. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water approaches the Denison University Heat Plant on south Main Street, with water approaching the Granville Waste Water Treatment Plant. Water also breaches the TJ Evans bike trail and approaches the Granville Square Apartments. The ball diamonds at Raccoon Valley Park are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 5:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.1 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early this morning to a crest of 15.9 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this morning. Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
