* WHAT...Flooding caused by prior excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...East Central Meigs County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 309 PM EDT, the gauge on the Shade River at Chester was in Minor Flood Stage at 16.7 feet and slowly rising. Additional impacts are possible downstream to the east as the water drains eastward into the Ohio River. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
