Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...North Central Washington County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1028 PM EDT, The gauge on Duck Creek at Whipple crested at 14.75 feet and is falling. At 14 feet, low sections of Route 821 below Whipple flood. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lower Salem and Devola. This includes Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 6 and 12. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
