At 30.0 feet, Several residences may be surrounded with street depths approaching 2 feet in the northeast portions of Blackwell. Highway 177 north of Blackwell may be flooded... while Hubbard Road may be impassable southeast of Blackwell. Rural lands are covered by floodwaters ranging up to 2 feet in depth in extreme northeastern Grant and Kay counties.

At 1:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 26.8 feet. Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet. Forecast...The Chikaskia River is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 30.5 feet this afternoon.
