Bald Eagle Creek near Beech Creek Station affecting Clinton and Centre Counties. ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following creek in Pennsylvania... Penns Creek near Penns Creek affecting Union and Snyder Counties. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Bald Eagle Creek near Beech Creek Station. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Homes in the cottage area are cutoff by high water and directly affect homes in this area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 5:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 15.1 feet. Forecast...The creek is expected to rise to a crest of 15.3 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. Flood stage is 11.0 feet. Major flooding is 15.0 feet. Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.6 feet on 01/19/1996. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
