For the Chester Creek...including Chester...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Chester Creek near Chester. * WHEN...From early this morning to this evening. * IMPACTS...At 10.5 feet, Flood damage, adjacent to the creek, begins in the city of Chester. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 4:47 AM EDT Monday the stage was 8.4 feet. Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:47 AM EDT Monday was 8.4 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.3 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage this afternoon. Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
