* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. This warning replaces the Flash Flood Warning. * WHERE...Northumberland County in central Pennsylvania... Snyder County in central Pennsylvania... Southeastern Union County in central Pennsylvania... * WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 321 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sunbury, Shamokin, Mount Carmel, Lewisburg, Selinsgrove, Northumberland, Kulpmont, Winfield, Elysburg, Fairview- Ferndale, Trevorton, Shamokin Dam, Linntown, Marshallton, Hummels Wharf, Middleburg, McClure, Montandon and Kreamer. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
