...The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Pennsylvania... Youghiogheny River near Confluence affecting Somerset County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Youghiogheny River near Confluence. * WHEN...From this morning to this evening. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The right bank of the river overflows downstream of confluence and about 1/4 mile upstream from the gaging station. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 7:45 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 12.3 feet. Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
