...The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in South Dakota... Little Minnesota River near Peever affecting Roberts County. .For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes precipitation through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation could affect the forecasts. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Minnesota River near Peever. * WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Left bank below gage begins flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.9 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 17.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage by early this evening. Flood stage is 17.0 feet. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
