Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake affecting Hardin and Jefferson Counties. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Village Creek Near Kountze affecting Hardin County. For the Neches River...including Town Bluff, Evadale, Neches River Saltwater Barrier...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Pine Island Bayou...including Sour Lake...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Village Creek near Kountze. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Water covers low spots on Willard Lake Road and Village Creek Road near Lumberton. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.2 feet. Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Sunday was 18.9 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this morning and continue falling to 5.2 feet Friday morning. Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
