The City of Hopewell in south central Virginia... The Northwestern City of Petersburg in south central Virginia... * WHEN...Until 345 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 841 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding across Hopewell. Flooding is already occurring. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
