Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by prior excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Harrison County in northern West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 929 PM EDT, emergency management reported lingering high water issues across the warned area due to prior heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain fell earlier. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clarksburg, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Anmoore, West Milford and Lost Creek. This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 111 and 117. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
