...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in West Virginia... West Fork River above Clarksburg affecting Harrison County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...West Fork River above Clarksburg. * WHEN...Until Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Homes along the low sections of the river on Liberty Avenue and Route 19 flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 10:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 15.5 feet. Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:15 PM EDT Wednesday was 16.9 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 3.7 feet Monday evening. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.6 feet on 12/14/2007. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
