* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following areas, Catalina and Rincon Mountains, Dragoon and Mule and Huachuca and Santa Rita Mountains, Tucson Metro Area, Upper San Pedro River Valley and Upper Santa Cruz River Valley/Altar Valley. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and into the late night. Rainfall totals can be up to 1-1.5 inches with localized areas up to 2 inches or higher. Areas that received substantial rainfall in the last 48 hours will be more susceptible to flash flooding.
