* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following areas, Appling, Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Clinch, Coastal Camden, Coastal Glynn, Coffee, Echols, Inland Camden, Inland Glynn, Jeff Davis, Northeastern Charlton, Northern Ware, Pierce, Southern Ware, Wayne and Western Charlton. * WHEN...From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... A lifting warm front and moisture due to Hurricane Isaias passing west of the area will bring waves of moderate to heavy rainfall across areas of Southeast Georgia this afternoon and overnight into much of Saturday. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts up to 5 inches possible. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
