ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Shower and thunderstorm coverage will begin to increase beginning today, followed by quickly deteriorating conditions coming into tonight as rain bands from Bavi begin to enter Marianas coastal waters from the east. Satellite-based estimates indicate rainfall amounts between 12 and 20 inches possible during passage of TY Bavi, especially near the center of the system. These profoundly intense showers and thunderstorms are likely to produce flash flooding across the Marianas over the coming days. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
