* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Hancock, Henderson, McDonough, Mercer and Warren, southeast Iowa, including the following areas, Des Moines, Henry IA, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Van Buren and Washington, and northeast Missouri, including the following areas, Clark and Scotland. * WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... A large system of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall moving across the area this morning and midday, followed by more rounds of storms tonight into Friday morning may produce several inches of rainfall and eventual flooding problems.
