Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

Portions of Iowa, including the following counties, Harrison, Monona and Shelby and Nebraska, including the following counties, Antelope, Burt, Cedar, Cuming, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Stanton, Thurston and Wayne.

WHEN

Until 6 AM CDT Friday.

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Storm development is occurring across northeast Nebraska and should extend into western Iowa as well. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches are expected, with isolated areas of 4-5 inches also possible. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
