Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
WHERE
Portions of northwest Kansas, including the following areas, Cheyenne KS, Decatur and Rawlins and southwest Nebraska, including the following areas, Dundy and Hitchcock.

Through Wednesday morning.
IMPACTS
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Incoming heavy to torrential rainfall is forecast to lead to the potential for a few more inches of rainfall through the morning hours along with the potential for additional rainfall overnight. Due to already saturated soils and high creeks and streams flooding may continue to pose a threat to life and property.
