Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
WHERE
A portion of southeast Virginia, including the following areas, Chesapeake, Hampton/Poquoson, Isle of Wight, James City, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Surry, Virginia Beach and York.

From 1 PM EDT this afternoon through this evening.
IMPACTS
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon through early evening. Rainfall rates could exceed 2 inches per hour at times, with localized totals of 3 to 5 inches possible in a few spots.
