* WHAT...East winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 6 to 9 ft possible. * WHERE...The coastal and offshore waters from Cape Lookout to Surf City. * WHEN...From Saturday morning through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong east to southeast winds and elevated seas are possible Saturday through Saturday night as a strong gradient develops along an advancing warm front and weak area of low pressure.
