In Connecticut, Southern Litchfield County. In New York, Eastern Dutchess, Eastern Greene, Eastern Ulster, Western Columbia, and Western Dutchess Counties.

For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT this evening. For the Heat Advisory, from 11 AM to 7 PM EDT Saturday.
IMPACTS
Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Instructions
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
