* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 6 to 9 feet. * WHERE...South facing reefs of Kosrae. * WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 3 AM ChST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A broad circulation to the distant south, near the Solomon Islands, is producing a southerly swell that will continue to build into eastern Micronesia over the next few days. Surf is expected to increase back up to hazardous levels of 6 to 9 feet along south-facing reefs of Kosrae later this afternoon and persist through Tuesday.
