The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm... Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM... At 1126 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms near the waters off Bald Head island, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent lightning. This thunderstorm was located over Bald Head Island, moving northeast at 25 knots. Additional thunderstorms are expected to impact the waters over the next several hours. Be alert for rapidly changing conditions. Locations impacted include... Fort Fisher, 10 Mile Boxcars, Liberty Ship, Dallas Rock, Billy Murrell Reef, Johnny Mercer Pier, Masonboro Sea Buoy, Harris Reef, 10 Mile Rocks, Kure Beach Point, School House Reef, Sheepshead Rock, Buoy Off Carolina Beach, Wr2, Dredge Wreck, 5 Mile Boxcars, Kure Beach, Caswell Beach, North Masonboro Island, and Wrightsville Beach.
