A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm... Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM... At 202 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Dallas Rock to Holden Beach, moving southeast at 10 knots.
