The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm... Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM... At 841 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent cloud to sea lightning. This thunderstorm was located along the waters near Bald Head Island, moving east at 20 knots. Additional thunderstorms are likely across portions of the coastal waters today. Locations impacted include... Fort Fisher, 10 Mile Boxcars, Cape Fear Sea Buoy, 10 Mile Rocks, Kure Beach Point, School House Reef, Kure Beach, Sheepshead Rock, Wr2, Wr4, Dredge Wreck, Caswell Beach, and Bald Head Island.
