Bulletin details

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm... Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM... At 123 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms increasing along the coast from the tip of Cape Fear up through Surf City. Expect some of these storms to move eastward over the waters over the next few hours. These thunderstorms, will be capable of producing winds to around 30 knots or greater and frequent lightning.
